Greek Tahini with Orange 🍊🍊
Ingredients
1 cup sesame seeds
2-3 tbsp mild olive oil
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp orange extract
1 tsp orange zest
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spread sesame seeds on a parchment-paper-lined cookie
sheet, and bake for 6 to 8 min, until fragrant.
Put the sesame seeds in a blender or food processor fitted with the metal blade.
Add the olive oil, honey, orange extract and orange zest.
Process to a smooth paste.
Add more oil if necessary, to bring the paste to a thick pouring consistency.
Tahini will keep stored in a tightly covered jar in the refrigerator for several months.
