Ingredients
Cheeseburger Macaroni
- 1 lb lean hamburger meat
- 1 pkg taco seasoning
- 1 can Rotel tomatoes and green chilies (or fresh diced tomatoes)
- 2 cups beef broth (or water)
- 1 cup elbow macaroni
Cheese Sauce:
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- ¾ cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- ½ tsp Cayenne (optional)
Directions
Make your Meat:
- Brown your Hamburger meat in the skillet, drain
- Add Taco Seasoning, Beef Broth, and Macaroni, Heat to Boil then reduce.
- Cover the pan and let it simmer until the Noodles are tender - bout 12 minutes
Make your Cheese:
- Melt Butter in Saucepan over med/high heat
- Stir in the Flour - stir/cook for about 5 minutes
- Stir in the Milk, Turn up the heat and stir until thickened
- Remove from heat and stir in the Shredded Cheddar, add salt, pepper, cayenne, etc…
Combine:
