Homemade Nutella
Ingredients
- 1 cup roasted hazelnuts
- 350 gr. chocolate, melted
- 2 tbsp vegetable or coconut oil
- 3 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp salt
Directions
First melt the chocolate and let cool.
In a food processor, take the hazelnuts and grind them
Add the oil, sugar, vanilla, cocoa powder and salt and continue grinding it until the mixture is as smooth as possible.
Take the melted chocolate and add it to the hazelnut paste.
Blend everything again until it’s that smooth, satin-y, familiar hazelnut chocolate spread.
It’ll look a little bit runny but don’t worry. It will thicken up as it starts to cool.
