RAW (or cooked) Mango Sushi by @happyhealthy96
WHAT YOU NEED:
4 altulfo mangoes thinly sliced
1 red bell pepper thinly sliced
1 pack alfalfa sprouts
1.5 cups cooked rice (optional)
1 thinly sliced carrot
2 heaping spoonfuls of sauerkraut (optional)
1 large handful of baby spinach
6 sheets of seaweed/noriHOW TO MAKE:
1. Prepare your rice on the stove or in a rice cooker.
2. Wash and prep your vegetables and mango.
3. Lay your seaweed out on a bamboo mat.
4. Spread a layer of rice out on the seaweed. For the raw version just subsitute rice for spinach.
5. Place a thin row of filling ingredients across the middle of the rice (or spinach).
6. Hold the edge of the mat closest to you then lift and roll away from you, covering the filling.
7. Once the sushi has been rolled into a cylindrical roll, dampen the edge of the seaweed with a little water to seal.
8. Chill the roll until firm, then with a sharp knife, cut into pieces and serve.
