Chocolate barks with nuts 馃崼馃尠馃挍 by @alenafoodphoto

* ½ cup raw cacao butter
* ¼ cup raw cacao powder
* ¼ cup of nuts ( any but previously soaked :Almonds, hazelnuts, cashews, pistachios, pecans, walnuts ) * 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional)
* 1 tbsp flavoring (optional) ( any on your taste : Ginger, sea salt, chili or cayenne pepper, cinnamon etc.) Directions:
Put the cacao butter in a bowl, and place that bowl inside another bowl filled with warm water. This will allow the cacao butter to heat up just enough to melt ( if you have a thermometer it is great. Make sure you don’t go over 48°C/118°F. If you get very close and the cacao butter is still melting, remove the bowl from the heat and let the butter melt further on the countertop. The temperature will start to drop and that’s what we’re after). Add the cacao powder, maple syrup and mix well. Next throw in your nutsand flavorings, pouring into an 8 x 8 pan lined with parchment paper. Place the pan in the freezer for around 10 to 15 minutes, then remove and cut into 16 even pieces.
