chemese:

I totally forgot to post the finished product of my flax crackers. These things are so yummy every time I was walking by the dehydrator I would eat one but I still have a lot left. Here’s the recipe:

Ingredients
* 2 cups whole flaxseeds
* 2 cups water
* ¼ cup Nama Shoyu Raw Soy Sauce
* 1 tablespoon fresh minced herbs

Directions
1. In a medium-sized bowl, cover the flax seed with water and allow to soak overnight. The flax seed will turn to a gelatinous goo.
2. Stir in the nama shoyu sauce and fresh herbs. Add more water as needed. You want the mixture to be gooey, but not runny, and not too thick.
3. Spread the mixture on your dehydrator’s teflex sheets.
4. Set your dehydrator to about 110 F, and dehydrate for 4-6 hours.
5. Turn the crackers over, and dehydrate another 3 - 4 hours. If you like a crispy and crunchy cracker, dehydrate a bit longer.
