
GREEK MUSSELS SAGANAKI
Ingredients:
1-1 ½ kg mussels (without the shell)
2 tbs olive oil
2 bell peppers, green & red ,seeded and chopped
1 chilli pepper, seeded and chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, cut into cubes
1 tsp oregano
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
2 tbs ouzo
1 tbsp mustard
Directions:
Heat the olive oil in a saucepan, and sauté onion and garlic.
Add the peppers, tomatoes , parsley, reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the mussels, ouzo, mustard and cook over medium heat for 3 min.
Top with the crumbled feta (optional) and oregano , Serve hot.
